The National Bank of Georgia, in cooperation with ISET, the Tbilisi State University International School of Economics, is pleased to announce the launch of a competition to support talented students.

The ISET's 3rd and 4th year undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to participate in the competition.

By this initiative, the NBG seeks to reveal and encourage talented young economists.

Students interested in economic and financial issues will be free to enjoy the opportunity to consult with the NBG experts. With the guidance provided by the NBG professionals, the students will be able to move forward with their bachelor/master thesis: clearly define its purpose, task and techniques, obtain and collect necessary data.

The successful candidates will be given the opportunity to complete a 3-month paid internship at the NBG.

The purpose of the NBG competition is to boost the young people's interest in research papers and increase their involvement. The students are encouraged to submit the research papers  that tackle the areas particularly relevant to the NBG: financial stability, macroeconomics and statistics, and seek to contribute to an in-depth study of matters important to central banks.
