The National Bank Of Georgia Shares Experience With Colleagues From Azerbaijan

The delegation of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan visited National Bank of Georgia with the purpose to learn about the reforms implemented in the field of foreign sector statistics and to share the experience. The guests will learn from the members of National Bank about how to improve foreign sector statistics.

 

The employees of National Bank of Georgia will share with Azeri colleagues the experience about foreign statistics, in particular, ways of collecting information through banking and non-banking channels, methods of processing information and preparation of final spreadsheets. Special interest of the guests is focused on economic relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia, which may be reflected in foreign sector statistics of Azerbaijan and Georgia. Official delegations of Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, CIS countries have visited Georgia; many of these delegations visited Georgia upon the recommendation of World Bank.
