The National Bank of Georgia Publishes the Real Estate Valuation Instruction Project for Commercial Banks

As part of the initiative to
publish the legal act projects regarding supervision, the National Bank of
Georgia publishes the real estate valuation instruction project for commercial
banks. The main goal of the instruction is to enhance the quality of real
estate valuation in the banking sector and to establish further transparency in
the appraisal process and principles that will facilitate the stable and
effective functioning of the banking sector. The proposed project will define
and regulate the qualification requirements and ethical standards for the
Valuers.
