The Governor of the National Bank of Georgia met with the Regional Business Representatives of Adjara Region

The National Bank of Georgia continues regional meetings. After the Monetary Policy Committee, the Governor of the National Bank of Georgia met with the regional business representatives in Adjara. Koba Gvenetadze introduced the Monetary Policy Committee's decision and discussed the macroeconomic trends with the business sector representatives of the Adjara Region. Throughout the meeting, they also discussed inflation and it's targeting, economic progress, dollarization, consumer's rights protection, etc. 

The managers of the commercial banks and microfinance organizations in Adjara Region attended the meeting in the "Sheraton Batumi Hotel".  Amongst the discussed topics was the latest regulations of NBG, implemented towards the microfinance organizations and consumer right's protection and the planned changes in the legislative.

The chairperson of Government of Adjara, Zurab Pataridze also attended the meeting. 

It was noted, that meetings throughout the regions of Georgia hold a big importance, since it makes the ongoing economic processes and possible outcomes comprehensible to the business, along with the implemented policies of NBG and its influences.
