In September 2015, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 88.6 million USD (212.5 million GEL), which is 32.9 percent (43.5 million USD) less than the amount in September 2014.


91.3 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 13 largest donor countries, with the volume of transfers from of these countries each exceeding 1 million USD in September 2015. In September 2014 the share of these 13 countries constituted 92.9 percent of the total volume of money transfers.

In September 2015, 13.8 million USD (or 33.1 million GEL) was transferred from Georgia, as compared to 14.9 million USD (or 25.9 million GEL) in September 2014.
