In the State University of Zugdidi, Koba Gvenetadze deliberated country's macroeconomic trends with the students and scientific sector representatives. The Governor of the National Bank of Georgia also discussed the decision of the Monetary Policy Committee meeting and responded to the questions of the students.

"Within the frameworks of the Monetary Policy Committee meetings in the regions of Georgia, we try to have a meeting with the students. In the Zugdidi State University we discussed the macroeconomic trends, the perspectives of economic growth of Georgia and the role of the National Bank of Georgia in this process. The meeting with the students is always remarkable, since the opinions of this generation are crucial; it is important to understand their thoughts and how they perceive activities and policies the NBG implements. I believe that these meetings are essential, since we had the chance to discuss numerous topics of their interest", - stated Koba Gvenetadze at the end of the meeting.
