The net international investment position (IIP) of Georgia amounted to -23.5 billion USD (-63.2 billion GEL) for March 31 2019, accounting for -145.0 percent of the last four quarter GDP. Net IIP deteriorated by 233.9 million USD compared to the previous quarter.

International assets amounted to 9.9 billion USD (26.7 billion GEL) by March 31 2019, up by 37.5 million USD quarterly.

Liabilities increased by 271.4 million USD during the quarter totaling 33.4 billion USD (89.9 billion GEL).
