International Investment Position of Georgia
The net international investment position (IIP)
of Georgia amounted to -18.7 billion USD
(-44.2 billion GEL) for March 31 2016. This is -136.8 percent of GDP of the last
four quarters. This figure has deepened by 662.5 million USD compared
to the previous quarter.
International assets amounted to 7.0 billion USD (16.6
billion GEL) by the 31st March of 2016, increasing by 101.8 million
USD during the quarter.
Liabilities
increased by 764.3 million USD during the quarter totaling 25.7 billion USD
(60.8 billion GEL).
