The net international investment position (IIP) of Georgia amounted to -21.5 billion USD (-53.3 billion GEL) for September 30 2017, accounting for -144.4 percent of the last four quarter GDP. Net IIP improved by 10.2 Million USD compared to the previous quarter.

International assets amounted to 9.0 billion USD (22.3 billion GEL) by the September 30 2017, up by 478.6 million USD quarterly.

Liabilities increased by 467.3 million USD during the quarter totaling 30.5 billion USD (75.6 billion GEL).
