The total volume of non-bank deposits in the country's banking sector increased by 0.1 percent, or 8.0 million GEL, compared with October 1 2014, and exceeded 10.7 billion GEL by November 1, 2014. In October 2014, the volume of demand deposits decreased by 31.9 million GEL (0.7 percent) and term deposits increased by 39.9 million GEL (0.7 percent) compared to the previous month.

The dollarization ratio of total non-bank deposits constituted 59.5 percent by November 1, 2014; decreased by 0.53 percentage points compared to September 1, 2014.

The annual average weighted interest rate on term deposits constituted 6.2 percent. In particular, the interest rate for national currency denominated deposits was 9.9 percent and the interest rate for foreign currency denominated deposits 4.8 percent.

The share of the US dollar in the total volume of foreign currency denominated deposits equals 82.0 percent and the share of the euro equals 15.6 percent.
