"Corporate governance code, which, along with regulating many other important issues, provides for the strengthening of the role of women in the management process of the bank, is particularly important for the National Bank of Georgia", Koba Gvenetadze said at a meeting with female representatives of the banking sector and international financial institutions.

Koba Gvenetadze spoke about the initiatives related to the growth of the role of women and the actions taken for this purpose. Leader of the Georgian central bank informed the participants of the meeting in detail about the results of the implementation of the Corporate Governance Code and heard their feedback.
