On   January 4, 2012, CDs (Certificates of Deposit) at the nominal value of 40 000 000 GEL were sold at the 84-day, National Bank of Georgia Certificate of Deposit Auction N1.  The securities were purchased by three (3) commercial banks.  The minimum interest rate was 6.86%, the maximum interest rate was 7.07%, and the average weighted interest rate was 7.06%.
